As we mark Earth Day this year, we reflect on the many ways Mulwarra Export continues to support a more sustainable global food industry. From sourcing to delivery, we are proud to partner with producers and organisations that align with our values of quality, consistency and responsibility.

Introduced in 2024, Wilmot Natural Grassfed Beef is our premium sustainable beef offering. It represents a regenerative approach to agriculture that builds and preserves natural capital.
- 100% grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free
- Land to Market certified, pasture-fed accredited and animal welfare certified
- Supports biodiversity and soil health through rotational grazing and dung beetle activity
- Healthier choice with higher omega-3, CLA and fewer unhealthy fats
- Part of a climate-positive farming model with full farm-to-table traceability
This Earth Day, we also share valuable perspectives from leading chefs and partners in Thailand who have embraced Wilmot Beef, including testimonials from Christian Herrgesell, Executive Chef at Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Head Chef, Thav Phouthavong at 80/20 and Dr Philippe Rusin, Co-founder and CEO of D’ARK.

Mulwarra remains committed to responsible sourcing and ethical food production:
- Seafood Certifications that promote sustainable aquaculture and fishing practices
- AUS-MEAT Accreditation ensuring quality, transparency and consistency
- Known Consignor and Modern Slavery Compliance upholding ethical supply chains
- Mental Health Initiatives – supporting causes such as Movember and the Black Dog Institute
- Organic and Grass-Fed Certifications for selected products in our range

In 2025, we are proud to support the participation of our female managers in Meat Business Women, the global professional network recognised by the United Nations for its work toward gender equality in the meat and food sector.
With leadership development, mentorship and research initiatives that directly contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 5, MBW is driving a more inclusive, resilient and future-ready industry – values Mulwarra is proud to support.

Our partners at Food Source International Vietnam are taking major steps toward greener logistics:
- OLIVO insulated containers now replace foam boxes for up to 1,000 reusable deliveries
- Eutectic plates keep products cold for up to 9 hours using reduced energy
- Delivery routes in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi focus on efficiency and minimising impact
- Exploration of electric and alternative delivery options underway

Prestige Foods International is committed to sustainability through innovation and ethical sourcing. They partner with carbon neutral meat pioneers and have eliminated plastic bubble wrap through a machine that repurposes cardboard waste into packaging insulation.
Their partnership with Carbon Neutral, one of Australia’s longest-standing carbon offset providers, reflects a broader climate strategy. Carbon Neutral has planted over 30 million trees, developed the country’s largest biodiverse carbon sink and is the only Australian developer of a Gold Standard-certified reforestation project.
Through this partnership, Prestige Foods International has helped plant 800 trees as part of the Plant-a-Tree program – restoring ecosystems, improving biodiversity and reducing emissions.
At Mulwarra, sustainability is not just a commitment – it is embedded in the way we do business. From our producers to our partners, from farming practices to final delivery, we are working together to create a food supply chain that serves both people and planet. We thank all our stakeholders for sharing this journey with us.
